My name is Ms. Ida Cantrella, and I am excited to be your child’s ESL instructor for this school year. I have been teaching ESL to Non-Public Schools through the Bergen County Special
Services School District since 2017. I have previous teaching experience with all levels of English Language Learners from Kindergarten through adults. I especially enjoy teaching in
many educational settings with various, diverse populations and cultures.
I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and have an Elementary Education K-8 Teaching Certification. I received a Teacher of English as a Second
Language Certification from Montclair State University. I earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Caldwell University and hold a Supervisor Certification. I
continue to take professional development courses to further enrich my skills and to acquire new teaching strategies and materials. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
